Effects of standardisation on circular economy

Standardize topologies, reduce the variety of component's characteristics, avoid customizing to adapt the system designed for reaching extra performances, would be necessary to reduce the heterogeneity of PE. Reducing the heterogeneity of PE would facilitate each steps of circularity such as : reuse, repair, remanufacture, refurbish or even recycle.
